HOT AUGUST NIGHT 2006!

Featuring

DIAMOND CREEK • EHLERS ESTATE • HdV
SILVER OAK • TWOMEY

Dear Wine Associates:

We most cordially invite you to join us on Wednesday, August 9, 2006, as we present a totally HOT combination of exciting wines and guests from five sensational Napa Valley wineries.

DIAMOND CREEK VINEYARDS, founded in 1968 by long-time friends Al & Boots Brounstein, has created some of Napa Valley's finest Cabernet Sauvignons. Their gorgeous estate in Calistoga is famous for its diverse soils and micro-climates where they developed the descriptive vineyards of Gravelly Meadow, Red Rock Terrace and Volcanic Hill. We are so sad that Al passed away recently and we will miss him and his remarkable sense of humor. We are pleased that Boots' charming son, PHIL ROSS, who has been working with Al and Boots for the past 10 years, will join us to help preview their HOT and eagerly anticipated 2004 Cabernet Sauvignons, which we will be offering on "future."

EHLERS ESTATE, located in the heart of Napa Valley, is owned by the Leducq Foundation, which was created by Jean & Sylviane Leducq. The sole purpose of this non-profit philanthropic foundation is to support international cardiovascular research. Their winemaker is the very talented Rudy Zuidema and the sales and marketing are handled by our special guest and our close friend, KELLY DUCKHORN McELEARNEY - yes, Kelly is part of the famous Duckhorn Family of Napa Valley. The Ehlers Estate flagship wine is the outstanding and limited St. Helena Cabernet Sauvignon 1886, which recently was named by The Wine Enthusiast as their "Editors Choice" for August, 2006! What great timing to be able to present this HOT wine at our seminar along with two of its terrific sister wines.

HdV, which stands for Hyde de Villaine, was established in Napa Valley in the year 2000. It is a collaborative venture between the Hyde Family of Napa Valley, California, and the de Villaine Family of Vosne-Romanée in Burgundy, France. What a HOT combination! Aubert de Villaine is the co-proprietor and co-director of the famed Burgundy wine estate Domaine de la Romanée-Conti. Larry Hyde is the proprietor and vineyard manager of perhaps the most renowned vineyard in the Carneros District, Hyde Vineyards. Our special guest this evening will be the skilled HdV winemaker STÉPHANE VIVIER, whose winemaking experiences have included the vineyards and cellars of Pommard, Meursault and Chassagne-Montrachet in Burgundy, as well as Switzerland, New Zealand and California's Sonoma Coast. His wines are absolutely superb!

SILVER OAK is located in the Oakville area of Napa Valley and in the Alexander Valley of Sonoma County. Known for over 30 years for producing outstanding and highly coveted Cabernet Sauvignons, Silver Oak's two gems have been dubbed "America's wines." We happily welcome back our friend SUSAN CANNON, their lovely and knowledgeable Southern California Sales Director, to present Silver Oak's HOT new 2002 Alexander Valley release (Parker score 92), as well as their equally HOT 2001 Napa Valley wine released earlier this year (Parker score 94).

TWOMEY, located in the Calistoga area of Napa Valley on the former Stonegate property, is owned by the Duncan Family, who also owns Silver Oak. Their featured wine is an extraordinary Merlot from a single Napa Valley vineyard, the Soda Canyon Ranch. We are pleased to present their impressive 2002 vintage (Parker score 94), which definitely resembles a top-notch Pomerol from France - now that's HOT! SUSAN CANNON also represents Twomey and can fill us in on the complete Twomey story.
