AROUND THE WORLD IN 15 WINES

Featuring

ORIEL • JORGE ODOŅEZ IMPORTS • RUDD
SILVER STAG • SPOTTSWOODE

Dear Wine Associates:

We most cordially invite you to join us on Thursday, October 12, 2006, for an exciting tour "AROUND THE WORLD IN 15 WINES." We won't exactly make the same voyage that Columbus made in 1492, nor will we visit every country, but we will present outstanding wines from five countries - Australia, Austria, France, Spain and the great U.S.A.

Joining us for this world tour will be KELLY FORD, the General Manager of ORIEL WINE COMPANY, HERBIE MONTEROSSA, Spanish Wine Specialist for JORGE ORDOŅEZ IMPORTS, and San Fernando Valley native HARRY PARSLEY, founder and owner of SILVER STAG WINERY in Napa Valley.

Oriel Wine Company, based in Manhattan, New York, produces 26 wines from 8 countries and 23 different appellations! They strive to produce only the finest wines and have sought out and created relationships with many of the world's finest wineries and winemakers. For example, their "Soluna" Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa Valley is made by Phillipe Melka (winemaker at Hundred Acre, Bryant Family Vineyard and Dalla Valle). Their "Sygnet" Shiraz from Australia is made by John Duval, who, for 15+ years, made the famed Penfold's Grange. Their scrumptious "Ondine" from France is made by Xavier Planty at the renowned Premier Cru (1st Growth) Chateau Guiraud in Sauternes, France. We know you will enjoy Kelly Ford's commentary about all of her gems.

We have waited far too long to present the exciting Spanish wines of JORGE ORDOŅEZ at our events. Highly respected wine writer Mr. Robert M. Parker, Jr., in the current issue of The Wine Advocate, described Jorge Ordoņez as "the catalyst that inspired a quality-oriented group of Spanish wine importers to canvas the countryside" and "the impetus and force behind the rediscovery of indigenous Spanish varietals that introduced Americans to such . . . up-and-coming . . . viticultural regions as Toro, Jumilla, Priorato, Rias Baixas, Campo de Borja, La Mancha, and Calatayud." We have an amazing line-up of some of Jorge's imports, most of which received 90 or above ratings from Mr. Parker and are priced quite reasonably. Our special guest, Herbie Monterossa, really knows these wines and will help you understand and appreciate them.

SILVER STAG WINERY is a new Napa Valley, California, project from Harry Parsley, a 35-year veteran of the wine industry. After many years in the retail wine business, Harry moved to the wine country and eventually became president of the Buena Vista winery. In 1996, he and his wife, Ellen, fulfilled their dream of owning their own vineyard when they established The Parsley Family Estate located in Tulocay, just east of the town of Napa. They produced an absolutely stunning 2002 Cabernet Sauvignon (their second release) and we are proud to have Harry here to introduce this beauty to you this evening.

RUDD, located in Oakville, California, and SPOTTSWOODE, located in St. Helena, California, are always among our favorite Napa Valley wineries. Each of them has a dynamite new release that we wanted to give you the opportunity to experience. None of the principals of these two superb wineries was available to join us for this event, so the DUKE himself will be happy to represent them.
