Duke of Bourbon: Wine Association Event

We hope you have saved Wednesday, April 9, 2008, and will be able to join us for our next wine seminar, "CENTRAL COAST FUTURES . . . SOONER OR LATER." What an incomparable guest list we have lined up - JIM CLENDENEN from AU BON CLIMAT, BOB LINDQUIST from QUPE, and FRANK OSTINI & GRAY HARTLEY from HITCHING POST. Their wineries are three of Santa Barbara County's finest, producing wines of great style and distinction.

Each year, this is one of the most entertaining and educational events we present. All of our guest winemakers are knowledgable and personable. For those of you attending for the first time, you are in for a real treat. You will be able to taste excellent wines and hear, firsthand, detailed information about their production and characteristics. For those of you who have attended previous Central Coast Futures seminars, you already know what a great time you can expect.

As an extra added attraction, Frank Ostini will be bringing a barbecue treat from his famed Hitching Post Restaurant in Buellton. When you read the list of Hitching Post wines below, do not assume that we have made an error . . . yes, one of them is a real "Sideways" Merlot! Not to be outdone, Jim Clendenen will have an amazing line-up of Au Bon Climat Pinot Noirs, including Isabelle Morgan and Knox Alexander, and Bob Lindquist will present his blockbuster Qupe Syrahs, including the super 25^th Anniversary Syrah.

"SOONER OR LATER" best describes what we will be offering - wines that either will be released by May 1, 2008, or wines that you can purchase "on future" for delivery in August, 2008 All of the wines shown will be offered for sale at the event with at least a 20% discount. So come early (7:00 p.m.) for a short walk-around tasting and meet all of the winemakers as they pour their wines.
