Chateau Picque Caillou 2010 Bordeaux Pessac

93 Points by James Suckling:

Located in the northern part of the Graves region (formerly Hautes Graves), the Pessac-Léognan area is a communal appellation that was created in 1987. Its terroir is somewhat unusual, consisting of gravelly hilltops and pebble-covered slopes. The wines' reputation was already well-established at the time of the 1855 classification, when Haut-Brion joined the rarefied ranks of the premier cru category, otherwise dominated by châteaux in the Médoc. 750 ML

"Extremely perfumed with roses and other flowers with just a hint of plums and berries. Full body, with velvety tannins and a medium chewy finish. Lovely intensity. Excellent from here. "
