It is the smallest and coolest of the three vineyards. It was originally a prehistoric riverbed. The soil drains quickly, causing the vines to struggle for moisture, which results in low yields and highly concentrated wine.
Winery Notes: "Intense ruby color with a Bordeaux nose of cassis, violets, dark plum and black-berry jam. Flavors of vanilla, mocha, bittersweet chocolate and dark-fruit characters of cassis and plums. This wine is very complex and layers unfold to a long and lingering finish. Excellent wine that will only get better"
