The Anderson Valley is an increasingly prestigious AVA in Mendocino County and produces excellent value Pinot Noirs.
We passed on the 2013 Sonoma Coast as it was not made as we were used to, however this Anderson 2012 is back on track for the value we are looking for our customers!
The aromas of rich and lush Bing Cherries jumped out of the glass as we swirled it… followed by flavors of blueberries and red cherries flooded our mouths balanced by the inherent acidity which gave way to a long and surprisingly elegant finish.
This is the perfect wine to pair with your next truffle mushroom risotto!
Cheers and Bon Appetit!
