Domaine De Ferrand Chateauneuf du Pape 2014

"Distinctive for the bracken and peppery elements across wild red cherry and berry fruits. The palate has supple ripe raspberry and cherry flavors in gently grainy tannins that hold nobly. Exceptional purity and length. Drink from 2020."í_Œ‚í__(8/2017)

"(raised in concrete tanks) Brilliant ruby. Powerful, mineral-accented aromas of ripe red berries, cherry pit, potpourri and musky rhubarb, backed by a hint of Asian spices. Sweet, concentrated and seamless in texture, offering intense raspberry, cherry and lavender pastille flavors and a touch of licorice. Impressively suave and focused; a powerful jolt of candied flowers carries through the long, palate-staining finish. (JR)"í_Œ‚í__(3/2017)

"Tasted from bottle, Bravays's 2015 Chateauneuf-du-Pape is filled with notions of framboise, ripe strawberries, spice and dried flowers. It's not the biggest, baddest wine he's ever made, but it has beautiful purity and elegance, as well as medium to full-bodied richness, sweet tannin, and a great finish. It's well worth your time and money, and I'd be thrilled to drink bottles over the coming decade or more. ("í_Œ‚í__(10/2017)
