Stack House 2015
Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley
This 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley is even better than the 2014! Elegant sleeper selection and a terrific value from Napa Valley. Finesse style black and red currants compete with some tobacco leaf and loamy soil undertones in a medium-bodied, deliciously fruity, sexy style that offers immediate drinkability and can actually age decently for up to 7-8 years.
88 points, RobertParker.com (Issue # 228 - Dec 2016)
Composed of 82% Cabernet Sauvignon, 11% Malbec, 6% Merlot and 1% Cabernet Franc, aged in French oak (40% new) for 23 months, the 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley sports a medium to deep garnet-purple color and nose of ripe blackberries, blackcurrant cordial plus loads of black pepper, baking spice and dried herbs in the background. Medium-bodied, softly textured and refreshing in the mouth, it gives oodles of juicy fruit and good persistence. This is a great value, and a classic taste of Napa Valley! 2,700 cases were made.
